Algerian Navy Rescues Ailing Turkish Ship Crew Member

Algerian navy forces on Monday (10/03/2014) rescued a Turkish commercial ship crew member who had a heart attack as his ship sailed on Algeria's western coast, the Algerian Defense Ministry said.
 
In a statement, the ministry said navy forces moved to rescue the 48-year-old Turkish crew member after receiving a request for help from the ship's crew.
 
A military helicopter evacuated the Turkish national to Oran hospital on the northwestern Mediterranean coast of Algeria, the statement said.
